The Approach

Both psychological puzzle and quietly devastating tragedy, Mark O'Rowe's The Approach explores the inner lives of Anna, Cora, and Denise as they desperately try to make sense of their world. What begins as intimate, naturalistic dialogue builds into something altogether more unsettling, as the play examines memory, perception, and connection with surgical precision.

This U.S. stage premiere is presented by Irish Repertory Theatre and directed by Conor Bagley, featuring Carmen M. Herlihy as Cora, Kate MacCluggage as Denise, and Danielle Ryan as Anna. O'Rowe is an acclaimed Irish playwright and screenwriter known for Howie the Rookie and the film Intermission. Presented in Irish Rep's W. Scott McLucas Studio.
